What this service does
RoomRoaster is an entertainment service that uses AI to humorously critique ("roast") photos of rooms and suggest products that might improve them. It's meant to be fun. The roasts are jokes. The product recommendations are suggestions, not professional interior design advice.
Two ways to use RoomRoaster
1. Get roasted (private)
Upload a photo, get your roast, share if you want. Your photo is deleted immediately after processing. This is the default experience.
2. Enter the Hall of Flame (opt-in public)
After getting roasted, you can choose to submit to our public gallery — the Hall of Flame. This requires your email and explicit consent. Gallery submissions are moderated before going live, and you're entered in our monthly gift card drawing.
The roasts are entertainment
Our AI generates humorous commentary about rooms. This is entertainment, not professional interior design advice. Don't take it personally. If you do take it personally, well... maybe your room deserved it. 🔥
Standard roasting (no storage)
When you upload a photo for roasting:
- Your photo is processed by our AI to generate the roast
- Results are sent to your browser
- Your photo is immediately deleted from our servers
- We don't store, save, or retain your photo
The shareable image is generated in your browser, on your device. We never see it.
Gallery submission (opt-in)
If you choose to submit to the Hall of Flame, you:
- Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display the photo in our gallery and promotional materials
- Confirm you have the right to share the photo publicly (it's your room, or you have permission)
- Understand the photo and roast will be publicly viewable after moderation approval
- Provide your email for winner notification and removal requests
You retain ownership of your original photo. We just need rights to display it on our service. You can request removal at any time.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
1. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of RoomRoaster and their immediate family members are not eligible.
2. Entry Period
The drawing runs on a monthly basis. Each entry period begins at 12:00 AM ET on the first day of each calendar month and ends at 11:59 PM ET on the last day of that month.
3. How to Enter
Submit a room photo to the Hall of Flame gallery with a valid email address. Submission must be approved by our moderation team to be entered. You may submit multiple rooms, but only one entry per unique email address will be counted per calendar month. Additional submissions from the same email address within the same month will be displayed in the gallery but will not count as additional entries.
4. Winner Selection
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The drawing will be conducted within 7 days after the end of each monthly entry period.
5. Odds of Winning
Odds depend on the total number of unique, eligible entries received during the entry period.
6. Prize
One (1) Amazon.com gift card valued at $25 USD. No cash alternative. Prize is non-transferable. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unredeemed gift cards.
7. Winner Notification
The winner will be notified via the email address provided during submission within 7 days of the drawing. Winner must respond within 14 days to claim the prize, or an alternate winner may be selected. Prize will be delivered electronically via email.
8. Privacy
Email addresses collected for the drawing will only be used for winner notification and will not be sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
9. General Conditions
We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the drawing if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the drawing. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules.
10. Limitation of Liability
By entering, you release RoomRoaster and its affiliates from any liability arising from participation in the drawing or acceptance/use of the prize.
11. Social Media Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, Amazon, or any other third party. You understand that you are providing your information to RoomRoaster and not to any third party.

Content guidelines for gallery submissions
If you submit to the gallery, do not include photos containing:
- People (especially identifiable individuals)
- Children or children's rooms
- Nudity, explicit, or sexual content
- Illegal items or activities
- Content that violates others' privacy or rights
- Rooms you don't have permission to photograph/share
- Personal documents or sensitive information visible
- Hateful, violent, or harassing content
All submissions are reviewed by our moderation team. We reserve the right to reject any submission and ban repeat offenders.
Product recommendations
Product suggestions are AI-generated based on visual analysis. We don't guarantee:
- That products will be in stock or at any particular price
- That products will work for your specific situation
- That the recommendations are comprehensive or optimal
Use your own judgment when purchasing.
Affiliate disclosure
Links to retailers (Amazon, Google Shopping, Walmart, etc.) are affiliate links. If you make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We're not affiliated with these retailers and aren't responsible for their products, prices, shipping, or customer service.
Removal requests
If you submitted a photo to the gallery and want it removed, email hey@roomroaster.com with your email address or the room URL. We'll remove it within 48 hours.
Note: We can't remove content you've already shared on social media — that's out of our control.
Rate limits
To keep the service free and prevent abuse, we limit usage to 10 roasts per 5 minutes per user. If you hit this limit, wait a few minutes and try again.
Service availability
We aim to keep RoomRoaster running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.
Limitation of liability
RoomRoaster is entertainment. We're not liable for:
- Hurt feelings from roasts (it's jokes, remember?)
- Products that don't meet your expectations
- Any decisions you make based on our recommendations
- Third-party content, products, or services
- Service interruptions or data loss
Intellectual property
The RoomRoaster name, logo, and website design are our property. The AI-generated roasts are jointly created content — you can share your roast freely, and we can display gallery submissions in our service and marketing.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Significant changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
