What this service does

RoomRoaster is an entertainment service that uses AI to humorously critique ("roast") photos of rooms and suggest products that might improve them. It's meant to be fun. The roasts are jokes. The product recommendations are suggestions.

The roasts are entertainment

Our AI generates humorous commentary about rooms. This is entertainment, not professional interior design advice. The "severity score" is for fun — a higher score doesn't mean your room is actually worse. Don't take it personally. If you do take it personally, that's on you. 🔥

Photo uploads and public gallery

By uploading a photo to RoomRoaster, you:

• Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute the photo as part of our service and gallery
• Confirm you have the right to upload the photo (it's your room, or you have permission)
• Understand the photo will be publicly viewable in our gallery
• Accept that the AI-generated roast will also be publicly displayed

You retain ownership of your original photo. We just need rights to show it on our service.

Content you must NOT upload

Do not upload photos containing:

• People (especially identifiable individuals)
• Children or children's rooms
• Nudity, explicit, or sexual content
• Illegal items or activities
• Content that violates others' privacy or rights
• Rooms you don't have permission to photograph/share
• Hateful, violent, or harassing content

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules and ban repeat offenders.

Content moderation

We use automated systems and manual review to filter inappropriate content. However, no system is perfect. If you see content that shouldn't be on the site, email us at hello@roomroaster.com and we'll review it.

Product recommendations

Product suggestions are AI-generated based on visual analysis. We don't guarantee:

• That products will be in stock or at any particular price
• That products will work for your specific situation
• That the recommendations are comprehensive or optimal

Use your own judgment when purchasing. We earn affiliate commissions on purchases made through our links.

Shopping links and affiliate disclosure

Links to retailers (Amazon, Google Shopping, Walmart, etc.) are affiliate links. If you make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We're not affiliated with these retailers and aren't responsible for their products, prices, shipping, or customer service.

Removal requests

If you uploaded a photo and want it removed, email hello@roomroaster.com with details. We'll remove it within 48 hours. We don't offer "undo" for shares that already happened — once you share your roast on social media, that's out of our control.

Rate limits

To keep the service free and prevent abuse, we limit usage to 10 roasts per 5 minutes per user. If you hit this limit, wait a few minutes and try again.

Service availability

We aim to keep RoomRoaster running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

Limitation of liability

RoomRoaster is entertainment. We're not liable for:

• Hurt feelings from roasts (it's jokes, remember?)
• Products that don't meet your expectations
• Any decisions you make based on our recommendations
• Third-party content, products, or services
• Service interruptions or data loss

Intellectual property

The RoomRoaster name, logo, and website design are our property. The AI-generated roasts are jointly created content — you can share your roast freely, and we can display it in our gallery and marketing.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Significant changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your State/Jurisdiction].
